Kings School Year 6 International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program 2024

The PYP program involved the Year 6 students at The King’s school researching global issues from climate change and human rights to artificial intelligence and animal welfare, sharing their findings and solutions.

Branching Out Designs worked with the boys to produce a collaborative artwork, an intricate seed pod woven with stars, symbolising the boys’ hopes for the future. This piece represented the seeding of ideas that had grown throughout their research journey.

Bilya Gulyangarri Preschool North Katoomba – 2015

We spent a few days here creating a beautiful pod with the pre-school children for their fairy garden. The children particularly enjoyed finding leaves, flowers and vines in their garden to weave into the piece.

Lawson Public School  – 2015

Branching Out spent a lovely week with the students, staff and parents of Lawson Public school weaving garden beds. The garden beds will be used to grow vegetables and herbs for the school’s kitchen garden scheme. In conjunction with the garden beds the students also weaved fruit platters to collect their produce on, wall art and critters to decorate their Alfresco eating area.
